Description
A striking silver neck torque worn traditionally by tribal populations in Rajasthan, Northern India. Beautiful in its bold simplicity, this mid 20th c. piece has a comforting weight and a lovely usage patina consistent with its age and use. There is a small crack on the right ‘arm’ of the torque but it holds no real problem and the piece remains basically robust, with an already comfortable and elegant shape to fit the neck well. Beautiful!!
