Description
A really lovely lightweight jantar pendant from Rajasthan N. India. With an attractive form and beautiful enamelled birds and granulation, this unusual jantar would have originally been strung on thick cotton, along with many other similar pieces, with a large focal pendant. Originally it would have been gilt gold of which the remnants are still visible and as it is it provides a sweet centrepiece for a necklace or as a stand alone piece on a thick cord.
