Antique silver ball shaped container sourced from Madhya Pradesh, central India. This useful silver box has floral stamped motifs at each end and a simple screw opening which remains robust. Whether used for holding opium or betel nut, this item has nevertheless had a long life already and displays a wonderful, smooth patina.
